FACS 3rd Quarter Week 2

This week, all classes are finishing up their vocabulary work (8 sets) and on their way with sewing.  Eighth graders should be able to do some mending jobs around home with their hand sewing skills.  Sixth and seventh graders would benefit from getting familiar with your home sewing machine if you have one.  They should be able to identify the machine parts and their functions.  If your home sewing machine has a manual, it would be helpful to your student when using machines that are different than the ones at school.  Sewing is a great cold weather or rainy day activity!

Friday is club pictures day.  Students will be in and out of the classroom most of the morning.
