 Friday is field day and the last day of school. 

 It has been a pleasure teaching all of my students this year.  Have a great summer and successful eighth grade year.

Tuesday: Finished test on probability.  No homework.

Wednesday: Period 3 did not meet.  Performing Arts.  Period 5 palyed math games on the computer and went to the Chorus Concert.

Monday: Final Test on Probability.  No homework.

Tuesday: Finished test on probability. No homework.

Week of March 31st

We are in the third week of the foruth quarter.  Spring Break is the week of April 6th. There will be before and after school classes for all subjects for students to spruce up on curriculum for the CRCT.  Before school classes in math and reading have been extended to the week after Spring Break. Ms.Sinclair's Boot Camp meets on Tuesdays and all are welcome.

Monday: CRCT warm-up review.  Chapter 2 in the Coach book was given as a classwork assignment to Period 3.  Period 5 will do the assignment on Tuesday.  No homework.

Tuesday: CRCT warm-up review.  Geometry transformations.  5th period classwork assessment.

Wednesday: CRCT warm-up review.  Similar Figures and Scale Factor.  No homework.

Week of March 23rd

We are beginning the second week of the last quarter.  All report cards should be signed and checked off by homeroom teachers.  The Simpson Shuffle Run/Walk and Health Fair will be held on Friday, March 27, 4:30-6:30 P.M. Registration forms for the run/walk can be found at the front office and on the Simpson web site www.cobbk12.org/~simpson.   Proceeds will support the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life which raises funds to fight cancer.  Please join us!  Together we can make a difference.

Week of March 9th

New schedules for the fourth quarter were given to students today.  They began new connections classes and any subject area changes are now in effect.  Report cards go home March 19th.  The seventh grade fiekd trip to the GA Nature Center in Watkinsville is May 5th.  Please send permission slips and money as soon as you can to ensure your child a seat on the bus.  The cost of the trip is $25 and permission slips have already been sent  home.  The cost of the trip includes transportation, admission, and a Chick-Fil-A lunch.

Rita's is hosting a Simpson night on March 19th (5-7 P.M.).  It is located behind Chick-Fil-A at Sandy Plains and East Piedmont.
