SCIENCE - It's hard to believe the year is almost over. It seems like yesterday when the students walked into my room. It has been a great year; I have a great bunch of smart students.
This week we will be finishing our study of bacteria and viruses. The Bacteria and Viruses Bloom assessment was handed back today. Unfortunately, several assessments were not up to standards. Those students were given the opportunity to make up a few points. The majority of the papers were awesome. You really worked hard and I was blown away by your dedication.
Have a wonderful safe summer.
SCIENCE - Take home assessment due Friday. Remember you are on your honor to do your own work. Due tomorrow the lab we did on the computer. Think outside of the box. It is not an easy lab. If you were absent today, we did the lab on the internet. Go to my blog and go to MAY 1. Click on the first web site and read the information and do the lab. You need to write down the data (you will find the table under table) and questions under journal. You can just write down the information so you do not have to write down the questions. If you have trouble ask an older brother or sister to help. If you still need help, see me first thing in the morning.
RCICA - Journal entry.
SCIENCE - The weeks are flying by, but we still have assignments to turn in. DUE - Monday: Epidemiology Lab (Should have been finished in class and turned in on Friday) RAFT - R: Soldier (or appropriate person) A: Mother, sister etc F: Letter T: Influenza of 1918. SCIENCE - We will be studying bacteria and viruses the rest of the year. Make sure you have read 6.3 and 6.4 by tomorrow. Make sure you pay attention in class because you will have an assessment based on all of our discussions, movies, simulations, and readings.

SCIENCE - Hopefully you can get to http://www.georgiaoas.org to take the 2 ecology tests. I have assigned tests to your class. Go to teacher assigned tests. Remember the logon is the number given to you by Mrs. Shields or me. Password is education. Write down the answer you think it is because I want to see how much you know. I made one of the tests longer so I only have to assign 2 tests to you. Remember to think logically and use common sense.
RCICA - Ryan White story.
