Omega Learning Center, a Partner in Education with Simpson Middle School, is sponsoring a contest for the students! The contest is a Creative Writing Contest, where the students write an essay, 200 words or less, honoring their favorite certified staff member (administrator, counselor, media person, teacher...). Both the student who writes the essay, and the staff member the essay is about, has a chance to win the GRAND PRIZE. The one student winner will win $100 cash, while the teacher will win a gift card to Aspen Steak House. Omega Learning Center is a huge advocate for students’ learning, and together with Simpson Middle, has come up with a fun way to incorporate education into every day activities. Please encourage your student to participate in this contest, as it supports writing for fun! The flyers explaining this to students and parents will be distributed on May 3rd. The students will have two weeks to write their essay. The will be judged by an Omega certified teacher.
