Health Fair

The Simpson Shuffle Run/Walk and Health Fair  will be held on Friday, March 27, 4:30-6:30 PM.  Registration forms for the run/walk can be found at the front office and on the Simpson web site www.cobbk12.org/~simpson.   Proceeds will support the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life which raises funds to fight cancer.  Please join us!  Together we can make a difference.

Newscasts from the Past:  Civil War Project due Feb 18 (61, 62 , 63) & Feb 19 (64 & 65)

Permission slips were sent home last week to be signed. Also permission slips were sent home to view the movie GLORY. The school has a copy that has been edited for educational purposes.

 

This week in class we are taking notes on Chapter 8 which covers the war years.

CURRENT EVENTS IS DUE ON FRIDAY!!!!

Students are working on scripts for their Newscasts. Each student has an individual research topic for which he/she needs to do 1. poster, 2 outline of research, 3 paragraph on material on poster & 4. bibliography of materials used

Each group needs to produce a broadcast with a script for the broadcast. The projects may be filmed at home or here at school. If students need school equipment or my help with taping they need to make sure they let me know. Students who are filming or producing their shows at home, need to make sure that whatever program used works with the equipment here at school so the show can be shown in class.
