Today's Agenda:
1. Make sure that your name and period is written on the outside cover of your Reading Journal. Stack your Reading Journals in the box.
2. Copy the definitions for the first seven roots from the overhead. You will copy the definitions for the rest of the list tomorrow. Flashcards are due Wednesday; Quiz Friday.
3. Preview the grading rubic for the project before you continue working. Keep this in mind as you work:Download Exp Research Ppt Rubric
4. Use your History of the English Language to plan your PPT on the storyboard graphic organizer. Remember that the first slide will introduce your topic and engage your viewer, and the last slide will be a Works Cited slide to document where you got your information. The first word of the source you are using is what you will write in the parentheses at the bottom of the other slides.
Here are the sources in MLA format for making your source cards and for copying and pasting on your works cited slide:Download MLA%20Format%20%2DWebsite%20Sources[1]
5. Begin typing the content of your slide. After you have the words typed, you may begin to work with color, pictures (only from clipart), etc.
THE FINISHED PPT PROJECT IS DUE FRIDAY, MARCH 5, 2010. YOU WILL PRESENT THESE TO THE CLASS FOR AN ADDITIONAL LSV GRADE.
