If you want to be able to use a highlighter and to write marginal notes in your book, you will need to buy your own copy. Used copies from used book stores are fine, as long as they have not already been marked in.
We will have school copies available, but they cannot be marked in. If you use one of these, you will need to write your notes and copy important quotations from the book on your own paper.
Either way, these are both FANTASTIC books! You are going to LOVE reading them and talking about them with your classmates.
