Parents and Students:  In my last BLOG, I listed assignments
that I have been trying to collect and grade.  Also on April 2nd
or 3rd I printed Progress Reports for students to SEE if and what
assignments they still needed to complete and turn in.
Whatever assignments I do not get handed in by Tuesday, April 15th,
will be too late to accept, and those grades will be a zero.

Except for period 5, classes were given a short planet research
assignment using the Internet on April 4th.  It should not have taken more
than one hour over Spring Break.  A few students did not complete
this and received a zero, we wrote it in our Agendas on Friday
in class.

This week we are learning the phases of the moon.
We are having a short test on the Phases of the Moon on
Friday, April 18th.  You will be given 8 blank circles and asked
to shade, name, and describe the phases of the moon.  We
will practice and review this every day this week.

We will also be learning solar and lunar eclipses.
There will be a test on this next Tuesday, April 22nd.
We will be practicing and reviewing these each day.
These concepts are CRCT concepts and easy to confuse.

Next, we will cover seasons.

Lastly, we will begin our CRCT review of the year.
This is always fun for gifted students!

PLEASE BRING TEXTBOOKS TO CLASS EVERY DAY.  :)

Friday, students were given a PINK Test Review
Sheet for the TEST on Weather Fronts.
The TEST is completion, 33 questions, and

to also use as a study tool.
