7th Grade Language Arts Current Unit: Grammar is the focus of our work this week. We will be reviewing previously learned concepts (types of sentences, direct object, predicate nouns and adjectives, action and linking verbs). 7th Grade Life Science: Current Unit: We are continuing with the Genetics Unit. This week we are studying the structure and function of DNA in our cells. Students will be creating a DNA model and writing a descriptive paragraph.

7th Grade Language Arts Current Unit: We continue the expository writing unit. We are revising and editing our comparing and contrasting essay. Final drafts sould be finished on Thursday. 7th Grade Life Science: Current Unit: We are beginning the Genetics Unit. Our first focus is the Cell Cycle where students will be investigating how cells replicate themselves. This then leads into the relationship of chromosomes, DNA, and how parents pass traits onto their children.
