The Simpson Shuffle Run/Walk and Health Fair will be held on Friday, March 27, 4:30-6:30 PM. Proceeds will support the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life which raises funds to fight cancer. Please join us! Together we can make a difference.
Math 8 will be having the test over Unit 6 on Wednesday of this week. This will cover parallel and perpendicular lines; special angles formed by a transversal of parallel lines; writing equations of lines that are parallel to a given line; writing equations of lines that are perpendicular to a given line; and proportional segments formed by parallel lines on transversals. Begin studying and reviewing now.
Accelerated Math I will have the test over Unit 5 on Friday of this week. This will cover quadratics including the many ways to factor a quadratic equation. It will also cover imaginary numbers and complex numbers. Begin studying now.

Math 8 classes have started working on Unit 4 - Sequences and Functions. All classes will have a short quiz tomorrow over arithmetic sequences, set notation, and Venn diagrams. The test over Unit 4 will be on December 17.
Accelerated Math I class is working in Unit 3 - Circles and Spheres. This class will have a short quiz tomorrow over Lessons 6.1 - 6.3 in the Math II book. We are working toward a test over this unit on December 17.
