Update for State!

State_Schedule_as_of_March_26th

Many students have  a block of several events in a row.  Going out to get lunch is impossible for them.  We can place an order as a team ahead of time, or parents can go out to pick up lunch.  There is a shopping plaza approx. 4 miles from campus.  The link below lists the places there, and phone numbers to reach them.  We need parent input as to what to do.  With so many people on campus that day needing lunch, it could get tricky!

March 19th Update

We are getting close!  We need some input about food.  We had the idea about Subway by the Movie Theater for  a sub platter.  If we order it ahead of time with an arranged pick up time, sandwiches would be available for those who want them.  Other options exist.  Our first year we brought our lunches or ordered Pizza.  The school lunches have a limited window for pick up, and had issues with being undercooked last year.  Please email us with ideas, suggestions, and or alternatives.  If you want to Order the campus lunch, I must email orders by Thursday at 9 AM.

A special Thanks to Roma, Nissa and Jenny who helped me present a short slide show about Science Olympiad at the recent PTSA meeting.  The PTSA made a donation to Science Olympiad, so we will have a little $$ for water and snacks.

I will post the latest and greatest schedule Wednesday at 5:30 PM.  Schedules and Maps are ready for distribution.  The State Web site has directions to the University.  If you can, let us know if you are driving there Friday or Saturday.  We can make a list of who is where if you would like.  I will also make a phone list if you will send me permission and the phone numbers you want listed.

Thanks!

Mrs. B

Thanks so much!  Mrs. B

Regional Competition at GSU

Attached is a campus map.  Students will receive packets at Wednesday's meeting.    campus map

Driving directions to GSU

Our tournament is on the campus of GSU.  As you can see from the map, this takes place in a variety of buildings downtown.  For that reason, we will need an adult with each child.
