Test tomorrow over "The Miracle Worker." You have a study guide. We will continue writing the narrative about soething we have learned. The plan is to have these typed by the end of the week.

Monday and Tuesday of week we will continue reviewing for the CRCT. Wednesday-Tuesday will be CRCT testing. Please remember to eat breakfast, get a good night sleep, and be to school on time.
On Wednesday we will begin reading "The Miracle Worker." We will use this play to help use write a narrative piece. We will begin writing sometime next week.
This week we will continue with writing complex sentences. We will practice CRCT skills in our practice books with online practice on Thursday. We will finish Hatchet on Friday. I hope you enjoyed the novel. Be sure to include it on your reading log.

This week we will continue with complex sentences. Quiz on searching and checking complex sentences will be on Thursday. We will practice on Wednesday. Tuesday is a DOL quiz. Friday we will continue Hatchet with Ms. Green. We will also continue practicing for the CRCT both in our practice books and online. Please practice at home as well.

This week we will begin work on complex sentences. Tuesday and Wednesday will be dedicated to taking notes. Thursday we will begin with Lesson 1A in complex sentences. We will also continue with CRCT practice and DOL. The next DOL quiz will be next Tuesday. Friday we will continue with Hatchet with Ms. Green.
This is the last week of the 3rd nine weeks.
On Monday most of the class will be attending festival. If you are not, please being something to work on. This might be a good time to get ahead on your CUrrent Event assignment.
Tuesday- Compound Sentence Test. You completed a study guide for this test on 3/6.
Wednesday- DOL and grammar quiz
Thursday- We will begin a unit on complex sentences in the Sentence Writing Strategy series.
Speech with Ms. Green on Friday.
We are continuing with compound sentences. Tomorrow you will have a quiz on identifying and writing compound and simple sentences. Thursday we will have a journal entry and begin complex sentences. Friday is speech with Ms. Green. The next DOL and grammar quiz will be on Tuesday, March 11th.

Monday and Tuesday is your compound sentence quiz. Wednesday we will begin a new DOL and take notes on the difference between simle and compound sentence formulas. Thursday we will continue practice on this skill. Friday will be Speech with Ms. Green.
