May 12 - May 16

Two more weeks of school?!?!?!  How is that possible?  This has been a really, really great year!  I guess that's why the time has gone by so quickly.

We will be working on our ABC Books all week.  I will have the laptops available in class on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, for research.  In every class, the boys picked Africa and the girls picked Asia (very strange). Download abc_africa_book.doc  The link is for the Africa book.  If you are a girl, just change the word "Africa" to "Asia."  :)  Your books are due at the beginning of class on Monday, May 19th.  We will work on them in class everyday, except Thursday.

Because of our project this week, we won't have a regular Current Event.  I hate to cancel it completely because of the big news from Myanmar.  If you would like to do a Current Event for extra credit or to fill in a missing grade, I will still accept them on Wednesday.

On Thursday, we will be holding our Annual 7th Grade International Day!  If you or your parents or your grandparents are from another country or you have lived in another country, think about being a participant.  The more participants we have, the better!
