2011-2012 Yearbook

Yearbook applications need to be completed by all students interested.  Be sure to include a completed application, appropriate signatures, your picture and caption, and a writing sample.  Incomplete applications will not be approved.  turn all applications to the front office by 9/16/2011.

Jan. 18

Yearbook meeting at 8:15.  We will examine the pages sent off and look at our goals for the remainder of the year.

Field Trip/Workshop

Permission forms went home last week about our field trip Oct. 25th.  Please bring it to our meeting Oct. 12th.  (Don't forget to bring your favorite breakfast item to share.)

We will not be meeting Oct. 19th.

May 2010- Important News

Please stop by my classroom this week.  We will be sorting yearbooks on Sunday, 5/16 @ 11:00 A.M. Let me know if you are able to come. (It is not mandatory.)

Also, I need photographers and helpers on May 18th for Spirit Night.  Yearbook takes "dress up" pictures of the rising 8th graders. Let me know your availability.

March 2

No meeting tomorrow.  I do need photographers to take pictures of the Spaghetti Dinner this Friday.  E-mail me if you are able to complete our last task.  Thanks :)

Feb. 22-23

Optional meeting: Feb. 22- 7th or 8th graders needed to finalize the rest of the pages.  I will be after school if you can stay for an hour.

Feb. 23- any yearbook member needed to help with the final captions.

Feb. 16

If you are able to meet to brainstorm captions, I need your help!  See you at 8:15 in the computer lab.

Only 2 people have sent me their names of their clubs.

Feb. 9

We will meet at 8:30.  I will give you information about the rest of the pages. Everyone should be taking pictures.

I need volunteers to attend the activity @ Simpson this Thursday evening.
